Mr Daniel Neen is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon in the Kent area. His main focuses are in surgery regarding the hand, elbow, shoulder, and wrist. Graduating from University College London in 1999 with his qualification, Mr Neen subsequently went on to further his degree in the orthopaedic speciality and basic surgical training at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. His training in orthopaedic surgery was advanced as a clinical surgical fellow, before he continued with higher surgical training in the Southeast region. During this time, Mr Neen worked with many senior surgeons in that area within the orthopaedic speciality. To broaden his experience and train with more versatility, Mr Neen did two surgical fellowships in Exeter and New Zealand. While completing the fellowship in New Zealand, he worked with surgeons in high volume joint replacement and keyhole surgery.

Keyhole surgery is one of the learned techniques that Mr Neen has made sure to bring to his practice. He uses newer techniques and technologies to treat trauma injuries to the upper limbs, as well as arthritic conditions, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Mr Ahmed Othman is a distinguished Consultant Cardiac and Aortic Surgeon based at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. He specialises in complex aortic surgery, which includes procedures for the aortic root, aortic arch, and thoraco-abdominal aortic disease.

His expertise includes valve-preserving root surgeries, Ross procedure, aortic arch repair, and open thoraco-abdominal aortic repair. Mr Othman began his medical career with a fellowship in Adult Cardiac, Aortic, and Congenital Cardiac Surgery at the Aswan Heart Centre, mentored by Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub. Mr James Donaldson is a well-respected consultant orthopaedic surgeon with HCA Healthcare. He is based at The Wellington Hospital and The Wellington Hospital Elstree Waterfront along with an NHS consultant post at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. His subspecialties include hip and knee issues and he offers a first-class service in arthroscopy, replacement and revision surgeries. 

Mr Donaldson was awarded his medical qualification at University College London Medical School in 2002, receiving a certificate of merit in his MB finals. He then worked on the Royal National Orthopeadic Hospital rotation until 2013 to complete his training. Mr Donaldson went on to complete two sub-specialist fellowships: a one-year international fellowship in Toronto, Canada and a six-month fellowship at Stanmore on the joint reconstruction unit. He is currently a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal National Orthopeadic Hospital. He is on the clinical governance committee at Stanmore and sits on a number of multidisciplinary national meetings for nationwide complex case referral.

Later on in his career, he was awarded the Royal College of Surgeons Preiskel Elective Prize in 2001 and the Jacques Duparc prize from the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 2009. He has written numerous textbook chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored a website for junior orthopaedic trainees and medical students. He is a member of a number of professional bodies including the British Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College of Surgeons.

Mr Venki Sundaram is a highly experienced and regarded consultant ophthalmologist who specialises in cataract surgery, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, intravitreal injections, glaucoma, and YAG laser treatments. Mr Sundaram notably graduated from Oxford University Medical School before going on to complete comprehensive ophthalmology training in the London Deanery and Moorfields Eye Hospital. Following this, he completed a medical retina fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, where he gained a vast amount of incredibly valuable experience in relation to dealing with retinal conditions and performing complex cataract surgery.

Impressively, Mr Sundaram spent a further two years at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields, where he occupied the role as principal ophthalmologist for the world's first gene therapy trial for inherited retinal disease, and Europe's first retinal stem cell therapy trial.  To date, Mr Sundaram has published an extensive amount of work that have been published in some of the most prestigious ophthalmology journals worldwide. He is the lead author of the "Training in Ophthalmology" textbook published by Oxford University Press, which is widely used by trainee eye surgeons.

She additionally holds certifications in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), lifestyle medicine, and substance and alcohol misuse. She is officially recognised by leading disability charity Scope, and is Scope Certified in Obesity Management. 

Dr Hlaing attained membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008, and later fellowship in 2015. She also holds a degree in heart failure from Education for Health and has completed training in acupuncture with the British Acupuncture Society. After qualifying as a general practitioner in 2008, Dr Hlaing served as a GP, and later as a senior partner for a number of years at Swansea’s Harbourside Health Centre. She currently sees private patients at HMT Sancta Maria Hospital and the 1192 Laser and Beauty Clinic in Swansea.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr Hlaing holds a number of senior positions, including as an elected member of both the General Practitioners Committee of Wales, and the Local Medical Committee of Morgannwg. She is also an appointed member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Hlaing obtained a Master’s in education for health professionals from Swansea University in 2015 and currently serves as an honorary lecturer at the university’s Medical School. His experience of functional urology is unique with his three years tenure at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London; treating patients with complex urological and neurological conditions. His impactful research played a pivotal role in the licensure of innovative treatments, specifically botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for neurogenic bladders. Vinay’s time at Queen Square also granted him unparalleled proficiency in urodynamics and experience in incontinence surgery, experiences he now brings to the forefront in his role at Frimley.  Consequently, at Frimley, he is part of the regional pelvic floor MDT, performs video-urodynamics as well as incontinence procedures.

Mr Kalsi is the current clinical lead for paediatric surgery at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. In terms of paediatric urology, his expertise ranges from undescended testes and foreskin problems to blood in the urine and recurrent urinary tract infections. 

Benefiting from a strong academic background, Vinay has presented his work extensively both nationally and internationally.  He has received several awards, including a distinguished research grant from the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. His contributions encompass over 30 peer-reviewed articles and co-authorship of 10 book chapters.  Vinay remains actively engaged in ongoing research, having recently led on a regional prospective review on acute scrotal pain in the paediatric population for the Thames Valley and Wessex ODN.
